Today I rec'd an email from Lisa R. and in the email is a small video of her with David Markstein, the Italian gold buyer for QVC. I was wondering why he wasn't on the gold shows lately with the hosts. I guess this is the reason. Lisa said he is a member of her team. She must be doing very well with her online business if she can lure a 20 year employee to her team. Anyone else see this video?

He is a director with Jewel Source in NY. Maybe LR bought some pieces from Jewel Source. I won’t shop with her again after an item was stuck in her warehouse and they couldn’t call the people who worked there. What? LR told me on her FB page that she didn’t own the warehouse. They could only email. It took 3 Days to find out where my order was.

I don't think he works for her. Sounds like more of a consulting job for him. I'd be shocked if she paid him

Last week, some of the tribe were crying the blues because they missed out on a cadelabra thingy she was selling. It sold out, for the 2nd time I think. Someone posted to the broken hearted not to worry, they could find the exact same thing on...I want to say Joss & Main or something like that. So I went and did a search. Sure enough there it was, and about 12 bucks cheaper. That person's post was deleted of course, which actually I could understand.

The jewelry not as much, but the rest of what she sells can often be found from online wholesalers and home furnishings websites, or very similar items. Not as unique as she hopes people will believe.

It used to be more common, both on her FB page and the Tribe FB page, for people to post where they found Lisa’s items or similar for less $$ - and these were instances where Lisa was sold out, so it wouldn’t have hurt her sales. Now, it’s all routinely deleted, “in case” she might get more and it might, at some future maybe time, possibly hurt her sales.

I don't care what Lisa is doing now and I don't buy from her. I just thought it was interesting that she could get someone, David Markstein, who has been with the Q so long to work with her. I haven't seen him on air for awhile.
