@Melania - Really ?   Now RUDE and Crule, come on, one can only assume you are deliberatley misinterpreting what I said, maybe you should go back and re-read it .After alll it does seem to be a repeated thread "don't like the line, it;s awful, looks like bag lady clothing & the cost is to high"  I was just trying to make a link with why you all seem to go on & on about it.  There was Nothing rude or crule about it.

I hated it until I loved it!!  Who knew it would grow on me. I am tall and slim and the layers are great. I don't overdo with too much lace, etc. but the long tanks look great under many of my tops that can shrink and be too short. I get many requests to where I got them. They are not my wardrobe but a great addition.

Sorry ths took on a nasty tone. But it s rude ro say that a woman can thnk she looks good in rhese garments but really she doesn't.  i am quite old. I have a few pieces from this line and like them a lot. While I may not layer them, I don't sit in judgment of those who do. Why would anyone choose o do that? Maybe a best friend telling you thatbit isn't your best choice. But this forum isn't that, is it?

And a rude and inconsiderate one at that.  Obviously posters here buy and love her clothes.  You are entitled to your opinion, yes, but the way you express it is just rude and inconsiderate of others.  If you were sitting around a  luncheon table and knew people at the table owned and wore clothes of a certain clothing line, would you be trashing that line to their faces at the table?  Your post is comparable, unless you thought nobody who orders and wears LOGO clothes from QVC would read your post.   Doubtful.

It's amazing the lack of good manners these days.

This just astounds me because there is room in the fashion world for just about everything.  If someone doesn't like it, don't buy it and don't wear it....  I only have about four pieces, 2 cardigans and 2 vests and love them but I don't like layering and I don't care for tight/fitted shoulders, bust and arms and falling fuller everywhere else, I just wouldn't wear it.  I also don't like really thin fabrics... those are my choices.

I was at the grocery store a while back and saw a lady probably in her 50's wearing one of  Lori's tops with embroidery and lace on the bottom in a beautiful blue.  I knew immediately it was LOGO and recognized the piece. It looked remarkable on her!... No layers, and very flattering.  I actually went up to her to tell her how good she looked in that top...~!

Thank goodness there's something out there for everyone..... Woman LOL

It seems to me that the people who always hammer home the point of "you're entitled to your opinion but..." are the ones who get annoyed when people express their opinion. (btw i agree with your first post , Southerngirl). You said nothing wrong. The way QVC showcases logo so often, there's bound to be more opinion.

I own several of her pieces but the closest I come to "layering" is a top with a jacket, never more. I'm pushing 70 and think they look pretty good. I went to a conference last year and took a couple of outfits I'd put together. Ran into someone from the organization I hadn't seen in several years. Afterward, I got an email from her saying how nice it was to see me again, yadda, yadda, and then closed with "and I LOVE your clothes" - so I guess they do look OK on an older lady. Do I love everything in the line? Of course not, but I can work items into my wardrobe quite nicely.

I am one of those who like the Lori look, I don't like every single thing she makes but I do like alot of them.  I don't wear them all the time but for casual wear I think they look great and when I do wear them I get an awful lot of compliments, so they must look good.  I also like taylored clothing, it all depends on my mood and were I am going.  I guess to each his own !!!!  I must say what I don't understand is the constant negitaive threads about her line on here.  As others have said if you don't like them don't watch her shows and don't buy them.  It makes me wonder if it's because you can't afford them that's the real problem you have with her line.  Because the cost of them always seem to be brought up as an issue, and if your not buying them because you don't like them what diffenence does it make to you what they cost ?  Is it that the real problem is your jelalous because you can't afford them?  Sorry but other wise none of the rants make much sese to me.

Why hostile responses like this one come anytime an opinion, any opinion,  is expressed I don't know.  OP is not alone in her puzzlement over the success of this line, the forum is full of threads on this very subject.

It is natural to question one's position, ask others for their perspective, especially  when the "fashions"  are so distinctive, and it seems you're the only one who thinks them odd.  Has anyone considered that one can be surrounded by a crowd of delusional devotees and neither their sheer number nor the vehemence of their fanaticism means that  you can't see clearly yourself. Emperor's Clothes phenomenon- I just wish OP didn't have to suffer wrath for expressing herself.

OP, there are some really nice people who will discuss issues with you without attacking your character, questioning you rmotives.  It would be fun to have Logo proponents share their favoritte pieces or layering thereof.  If everyone could see pleasing combinations of the layers perhaps they'd be enlightened ? won over? A calm cordial exchange of ideas would be engaging.  It would be as nice for them if they could share their creations without drawing fire from the city pigeons.

Hopefully,  you will find a welcoming community somewhere in the forum that can serve as your window past your "confinement" .  At any rate you are not alone!  QVC has long been a source of connection for others too.

Lsk, we are all entitled to our opinions and all I did was express mine. lets not read more into it and turn it into something nasty. that was certainly not my intention. and no, I will never buy what I obviously don't like. where's the sense in that? nothing to be confused about really. OP asked a question and I offered just MY own opinion. not forcing it on anyone ever. peace to all.

You did nothing wrong...unless being allowed to have a differing opinion isn't allowed anymore. Some people are trying to control that. They continue to do so.

I don't think it was about right to have opinion in my post, I just ask simple question for who this is unforchunate and instead answer got this lecture about opinion. Please have your opinion but don't put down people who have different one.

Now have a good evening.
