As I watch the presentations of Isaac's TSV, I am again noticing what a difference a slight boot cut makes on some people's body!!! Bradley Bayou was the first person I ever heard say...women with larger hips should never wear skinny pants. It is all about the ice cream cone silhouette - the tighter leg accentuates the larger top of the body!! The fuller leg balances and evens out the body!!! I think Leah, Jessica and Jackie look great in the TSV!!

I agree and have always thought that..... BUT they've been trying to sell leggings and tight pants so everyone's been touting how great they look on everyone. They just don't.
I remember Jane saying a long time ago that any top (or sweater) that curves on the bottom so the eye goes away from the center (like a Bolero style but longer) accentuated the hips and if you're hippy it's not a good look (she was selling a cardigan with a straight edge and a 90 degree at the bottom)....
Then years later the curved bottom style is re-introduced and everyone (including Jane) are saying how great the style is for everyone..... and no... no it sure wasn't (and isn't)....
But that's the nature of sales and styles....

I've only had a chance to see Kerstin in them and they look great on her.

Yep, those ladies were rocking those pants today. They all looked great. Wearing clothing that fits properly and is cut a little fuller can make a world of difference in how you look. Legging, skinny pants and jeggings are not a great choice for a lot of us.

I like the skinny jeans and jeggings look on my; always have.
The biggest plus of those styles coming in is that I can FINALLY wear boots over jeans - so I guess at times I'm actually hiding the fact that they are a jegging.
I do have some INC boot cut ponte pants that I admit make me look 10lbs lighter due to their proprotion. Variety is good.

I agree. I did buy a couple pair of trimmer jeans to go with some slightly longer tops that didn't look right with wider legs, but I never stopped wearing my long, subtly bootcut jeans in winter with my heeled loafers. It is a very flattering look which never goes out of style. Somehow, if I am in the mood for flat moccasins or other flats, though, the thinner jeans look better than the bootcut ones with those shoes. It's good to have both. You mentioned Bradley Bayou! I loved him and his quality products. I still have and wear several of his coats and jackets. He left a real void at QVC. There has been nothing like his line since he left, so QVC missed out on a chunk of money I used to spend on QVC any time he was featured. Bit by bit, the q has ditched the quality lines. So sad.

I travel a lot and the style is definitely slim pants. Not everyone can wear what is in style, even the rich and famous.
There is a great picture in the news today of Ivana Trump and she definitely should not be wearing a short dress and no hose.

@Q4u very good point, just like not all the really long sweaters look great on all figures. I saw the presentation of the cashmere cascade sweater iM has and it is beautiful and I'd like it BUT for me it is too long in the back based on waht I saw today. I'm probably jsut not tall enough to pull that off so I'll pass.
Peronally I like a straight hem on sweaters and tops. One reason why I stopped buying logo was when it was all that hi lo hem. I had items from her line before that had straight hems and I like htem. I bought a few of the hi lo look and decided that for me it wasn't a good look.

I saw those pix, asd well as similar ones from her recent trip to southern Europe -- not sure if it was France or Italy. You're right about what she wore. She is a beautiful lady but is dressing all wrong for her age and the condition of her skin. Given that I am close to age and have skin issues, too, I know all about what to cover up on myself, so I am not being unkind to Ivana. Just identifying with her.

I do NOT wear high-low hems, period. Here today, gone tomorrow. Plus they tend to flare out and make hips looks bigger than they are. Most of the LOGO tops look like maternity wear in terms of how they flare at stomach/hips.
