Just something I noticed about the differences between companies. I placed an order with another company on Mon. And because the promo code wouldn't work online, the company gave me the 30% plus free shipping for my trouble. Got a notice that the items were shipped out the same day and I'll have them by tomorrow. OnTuesday, I was watching Issac and I noticed a cute pumps that one of the models was wearing. Found them online and placed my order. I checked my order status and the order is still process. What gives QVC, either you have the shoes in stock or you don't.

I never understand and I don't let myself get involved in the wondering any more.
If I need something super quickly, I try to buy it locally, not from any website. I do that even though I know Amazon would have a package here in 2 days. I just don't want to encourage Amazon taking over the whole world and do to the retail world what Walmart has done to many areas.
In the meantime, I ordered Perricone on TSV Sunday and my goodies are alre4ady unpacked and in their place waiting for me to start using them. But, the AD order that came due 2 days before that - also Periicone - that's not here yet. Go figure.

Hi Millie- I haven't purchased anything from QVC in a very long time. Usually I go to brick and mortar stores or from the company I mentioned in my previous post. But, I saw the shoes and liked the color. I did call customer service tonight (no moderators seemed to be around) and the rep told the estimated delivery was 1/11/16. However, she couldn't tell if the shoes had shipped. I thought that was kinda long even with a holiday thrown in. I tried to get her to tell me what the shipping times were for items, you know 3-5 days or 5-7days. She couldn't give me an answer. Then I asked if I could cancel the items and sure enough I could not. Is QVC the only company where you can't cancel an item which has not shipped?

I am sorry to hear you were dissatisfied. I checked on your order and it appears that you were successful in cancelling the 2 pairs of pumps. For future reference, our general delivery timeframe is approximately 7-10 days. Also keep in mind that the delivery date that you are given when the order is placed is an estimated date. Often times the items do arrive sooner. I hope that this information is helpful and again I apologize for any inconvenience you had in trying to order with us.

What the moderator said here is exactly my experience. Anyone who orders on a regular basis gets used to what the messages mean, and I have never had a problem cancelling an order as long it doesn't show that it has shipped. There are a variety of retailers for everyone's expectations, and I honestly don't understand why someone would shop with any of them if they don't suit you. QVC obviously has plenty of customers who accept their conditions. Count me as one of them.

I get even worse delivery from HSN. Last couple of orders took 12 days from date of order to delivery to me.

The customer service rep told me that the order could not be cancelled. I was able to do it on my own. Everyone has different shopping experiences; good, bad and indifferent. Mine are usually positive, this one not so much.
