many of us are considering pulling the plug on the Q. Long time shoppers do not like the direction the channel has headed,  it's turned into Comedy Central.  Removing two of the calmer hosts shows me they want loud antics, they think that will sell.  I am tuning OUT.  Sweet Carolyn must be devestated. Dan may have been close to retirement anyway ,,,, couldn't they have just waited til he walked away on his own terms. There is no humanity left at QVC.  Other hosts better watch their back. This new CEO is heartless.

This is also my first post ever on this forum .

That is how upset I am over the way QVC treats its employees .

I have not been shopping much at all lately .

I am going cold turkey and will not shop with them anymore .

They are not the company they once were .

I have had so many problems with deliveries , returns , credits , etc .  

Customer service is awful.

You just don't get it .

This is about principle and the way a company treats its employees.

I will not support a company that is cutthroat ,

There are other reasons to stop shopping at QVC also .

It has gone downhill for a long time and I am ready to leave them .

Many are outraged at how callous this man David Rawlinson is. Letting go seasoned employees who were loyal to the core.  Society has changed for the worse. corporations do not value anything but profits.

And let's face it, he hasn't been seeing much in the way of profits...

As noted elsewhere, if they want to save money and reinvent QVC then by all means do so, and start with the executive suites, where competence seems to be questionable...

He WAS let go .

Go back to his page and read what he says .

He said it was bittersweet but that he would not be with QVC any longer .

I loved watching Carolyn. Calm, professional, friendly; never screeching, never dressing like a goof, never yelling and dancing around.......Carolyn was ALWAYS PREPARED, ALWAYS PROFESSIONAL.

If she is gone, then so am I.  

I will wait for her next fabulous adventure to happen!!

Carolyn was not given a notice.

She just mentioned a show she had coming up and she was on the schedule for future shows.

She was blindsided .
