I bought 4 of those little mirrors that were the TS on HSN the other day.  They are each being shipped separately via UPS.  And they've all been shipped at different times.  (And their shipping cost for each was $1.50)!!!

I purchased 2 of the same Item from HSN the other day..They were shipped separately a couple of days apart..I said WHAT? the same thing? Why not ship them in the same bag? I got one on Wednesday and one on Thursday..It made no sense to me..

@Spurt.    Years ago I had a similar problem with my small PO deliveries.  At first I put it in the neighbors box until I had it.  I started highlighting the correct address, writing NOT MINE on the envelope and putting in it in the box outside my PO so they had to rehandle it.   If the envelope looked important I highlighted and put in the neighbors box so they would know.  It was not long before the errors stopped.  In time I was lucky to get the services of the lady I have now.  There are many various advantages to living in rural areas.  One is being able to get real postal concerns corrected quickly.

@Gram W

I wrote notes too and said "deliered to wrong address"!---I put the misdelivered mail in the neighborhood "outbox" and also tried the noteon mail I redelivered personally---sadly it didn't seem to help....

Oh I called and complained about all the misdeliveries and you know what the Supervisor told me...."my employees are a bunch of idiots"....those were her exact words---LOL!!!  She also said the previous post person that had been doing a good job was off on Army reserve duty but she wasn't certain if she was going to get her old route back when she returned...Woman Frustrated.....

Glad you got your situation corrected.....

@Shanus. @pattypeep.   If you pay the return postage you can return in any way you want.   2 items in 2 boxes using QVC labels could cost about $15.  Depending on weight a single box or reuse QVC bag it would cost about $5 depending on the value of the package and do you want additional insurance.   If I pay the postage QVC deducts only the original shipping fee from the amount that I have paid.  I have my refund kept as a QVC credit for future purchases.  I can see my refund quicker and verify that it is correct.   If I have them put my credit on the original card it can take months before I can see it and have use if my money.  To much waiting and tracking that way.   I don't like my fund in limbo where I can not touch them.

@Gram W@Shanus

Thanks for the info---I never got a straight answer whether you could return multiples of the same thing in one package when sending it back to QVC....some said yes, some said "no" you cant do that....

But I didnt think it was worth it to stand in line at the post office in order to use a USPS label and pay to have it insured.....if I return using QVC's label USPS picks it up at my front door for free....sometimes the convenience is worth paying a little more....but if a customer is unhappy with merchandise that was ordered, I think the company should pick up the tab and learn from it based on the reason for the return....QVC should be like other retailers that offer that kind of service to customers....

@Spurt  Sorry for the confusion. Yes, I do pack up multiples in the same bag. Just be sure to include both packing slips. I also save the brown envelopes & plastic outer bags from previous Q pkgs. in different sizes so if I need a larger size bag to hold more than one item, I have the envelope or plastic bag.

@pattypeep.  I would not blame the "postal worker" unless you mean the person doing the packaging.   I have had the same thing happen lots of times.  Same order number, same item, different color but different boxes with different "on route to shipper info", thus UPS tracking starts on different days.

My mail ladies car is packed now and she comes 3-4 hours later.  In the past I could look for her at 10:30.    My UPS man was here at 2:30 like clock work.   Now he is here at 4-5 and 1 time 8PM and not done for the day yet. To date he does not have a helper on his truck. When the heavy snow arrives, if the predictions are right, it will take more time for deliveries.   In rural areas  they have long driveways that usually do not get plowed until the owner gets home.    We are lucky to have the same drivers for a long time and they do a great job.  And yes they do come on the porch and knock when my car is here.  If weather is bad all packages are put in plastic bags for protection.  Holidays require lots of temporary help who do not always have time for good training.  Also there are temps who want a paycheck and do not care about quality work performance.  I am sure many of us know people like this.

Your post brought to mind the EXCELLENT and very much appreciated service I get from both the USPS and UPS. Unfortunately, I do take it for granted once in a while, fuming if a delivery takes a bit longer than expected. Fifty lashes with a wet noodle for me Woman Tongue

This issue irks me no end.  The Q must have a VERY INEFFICIENT supply chain on the fulfillment side that they can't get multiples of the same item in the same shipping container for lower cost than they charge to ship.  One would think that a company whose fulfillment of orders relies on shipping to have the MOST EFFICIENT  and COST EFFECTIVE measures at their disposal.  If so, they clearly don't pass on savings to us, their customers, which is why I RARELY shop here anymore, although I did take advantage of FREE SHIPPING day.😈

@MJDinVegas   QVC depends on shipping charges to bolster their bottom line.   The income from shipping can make the difference between profit and loss.   They use the best shipping rates that benefit THEM.   All the shopping channels are doing this and using the slowest,  cheapest shipper available.
