I ordered two IM tunics, same item number, same day, different colors, they shipped the same day, but they were mailed out in two separate packages. Now, I know that the shipping charge doesn't change, but it seems kind of goofy to ship them in different packages. Poor postal workers especially this time of year. BTW, I've received one, but the other is still "somewhere".

@pattypeep

Common sense does not seem to be one of QVC's strengths....I guess since you had to pay 2 separate shipping charges they want you to get your money's worth....LOL!!! Woman WinkWoman LOL

They should really go back to if your ordering more than one of the same item and it's being sent to the same adddress you should get 1/2 off on the shipping of multiple items that should be sent in the same package......

What we don't know is if the colors are all in the same warehouse.  One would assume so, but it's speculation.  The q loses lots of money from their inefficiencies.

I bought 4 of those little mirrors that were the TS on HSN the other day.  They are each being shipped separately via UPS.  And they've all been shipped at different times.  (And their shipping cost for each was $1.50)!!!

@pattypeep.  I would not blame the "postal worker" unless you mean the person doing the packaging.   I have had the same thing happen lots of times.  Same order number, same item, different color but different boxes with different "on route to shipper info", thus UPS tracking starts on different days.

My mail ladies car is packed now and she comes 3-4 hours later.  In the past I could look for her at 10:30.    My UPS man was here at 2:30 like clock work.   Now he is here at 4-5 and 1 time 8PM and not done for the day yet. To date he does not have a helper on his truck. When the heavy snow arrives, if the predictions are right, it will take more time for deliveries.   In rural areas  they have long driveways that usually do not get plowed until the owner gets home.    We are lucky to have the same drivers for a long time and they do a great job.  And yes they do come on the porch and knock when my car is here.  If weather is bad all packages are put in plastic bags for protection.  Holidays require lots of temporary help who do not always have time for good training.  Also there are temps who want a paycheck and do not care about quality work performance.  I am sure many of us know people like this.

I feel for the UPS drivers this time of year....one time there was a knock on my door after 7PM and was surprised it was the UPS guy....I guess they get extra pay for their long hours but after weeks of doing that it starts to take its toll.....

I don't have complaints about UPS which QVC seems to use less and less and chooses to go with USPS ---

I DO have a problem with USPS and their sloppy work----I have to spend my time re-delivering mail to the right people that the Postal worker misdelivered---and this has happened before the holiday season even started.....I know the previous delivery person didnt deliver mail until near 6PM, while the new person has it done by 3:30 PM---maybe he should slow down a little and do the job right instead of rushing to complete his deliveries early....Download rolleyes 10  I can only hope my neighbors do the right thing and also make sure the misdelivered mail gets to the right person---I've had important documents like Jury Summons, Car Insurance and Medical bills (the mail is stamped INVOICE ENCLOSED or RENEWAL CARD ENCLOSED) delivered to me in error....

@Shanus.   When I have returns I put all in 1 box and take to the PO to find cost.  It is always cheaper to go PO when returning clothing and other light items.  Based on pkg value the PO includes insurance.  My PO is 6 miles to my small town so it is quick and easy.

Yep, you got it.....someone posted a thread a while back that she had to pay about $36 to return 3 clothing items she had ordered in 3 different colors that didn't fit right.....I think that is why QVC offers $5 off once in a while when you order more than 1 if sent to the same address so customers get a small break if they have to return them which covers the $5 each original shipping charge, but you still have to pay around $21 for 3 return labels ($6.95 each)....other retailers dont charge a "try me fee" and offer free returns on clothing....

@Gram W If one order comes in more than 1 pkg., I squeeze them together in 1 bag & also mail it at PO. Never understood why the Q label is $6.95 (most of the time) when I can mail it back for under $5.
