I don't understand why after almost 10 years on QVC Gabrielle is on so many of the overnight hours. It seems like she is on overnight more now than she was before.  She has been with QVC much longer than some of the new hosts who seem to be getting all the attention. I watch QVC to shop so I like my host to be knowledgeable and talk about the product not about everything else.  I understand some people like the goofiness and all that talk about everything other than the product but since I don't watch for entertainment I really do not enjoy it.  Gabrielle is always pleasant, professional and knows the product, she is always well prepared.  I enjoy watching QVC so i can learn about a product so I can make a decision on whether or not I want to make a purchase, if I want entertainment I will turn on one of the other channels.

I, too, wonder if she has requested those house for child care reasons.  She's a great host, whenever she's on.  Once in awhile I'll see her during a daytime show.  Delightful.

I also think she does a great job.  At this point, with her senority, I surely think she must request this shift. It must work well for her family.

I, too have wondered that as well and have commented myself on that a few times.  She is definitely one host who should have her own fashion show as she as she as impeccable style and grace. I would have liked to see her have been the replacement on Monday evenings.  I can't watch the host who now is on, I know it's only my opinion but to me I feel she just lacks style.  Gabrielle is one of the best. Though maybe as othershave stated she prefers that schedule.

I thought a year or so ago that I read on her blog that she was being given her own show and she was excited about it.I have been waiting because I am sure it was a fashion show and I think she has great taste.I love watching her too.

I have enjoyed watching her the last two nights during early late nite. Hope she is on more during those hours.

Gabrielle is a pleasant host.   I especially like her paired with Jim Shore.  She always looks great and should be hosting more fashion shows.....

I am not saying this is the case for either Gabrielle or Alberti  (who also has been moved to the middle of the night for most shows) – however, that shift is for learning & growing.  New hosts are given that shift to build up their experience, knowledge and confidence.  Many experienced hosts who may have been loved but did not produce the sales numbers needed to meet their goals have been relegated to the middle of the night shift to re-prove themselves, or to serve out their contracts and be released at the end.  I hope in both their cases, it is for personal preference (but I doubt the experienced hosts would request it very often).  It impacts their commission and few people watch in those hours so fewer sales are made…thus less commission.  Few want to give up better & easier money with greater exposure.
