I ordered Cheryl's cookies last Christmas. I was very disappointed because the cookies were much smaller than I expected. The frosting is exceptionally sweet. I wouldnot order again.

It depends on what sort of cookies you like. I ordered some last year and was underwhelmed. Not all that moist and didn't stay fresh all that long even when immediately frozen. Got stale-tasting well before they were half gone. i threw about 40% of them out. They tasted very blah, even for sugar cookies. Sweet blah is what they tasted like to me.
@JasoninBoston....I agreee with @Moonchilde. I purchased Cheryls cookies for myself and a friend about 2 years ago. We both felt they weren't that good at all. Don't feel deprived. You aren't missing anything. I'm sure a local bakery in your area, or even a grocery store makes better tasting cookies for A LOT LESS MONEY!!!

I agree. I've received them as gifts twice. I didn't like them at all. Far too sweet, and some of them were stale and/or broken. "Sweet blah" is a good description.
In addition to that, there were CS problems both times. Once there was no gift card included, and when I called I was told that it didn't matter who had sent them! I insisted that they check their records, and it took 2 reps nearly an hour to find the information. Which turned out to be incorrect.
Even if these cookies were good, I wouldn't do business with this company again. But I've had far better cookies, and thought these were really disappointing.

Thanks for posting everyone. I thought it was just me. Order corky's ribs and they were nothing to write home about. Alot of the food change and I really don't order food from QVC. Juniors cheesecake big disappointment. Mrs. Pringleables in the beginning great but now apples are smaller and not that great at all!!!! Stopped buying them years ago. Wow bobby Chez gone. Oh one time purchased turkey that they guy who has the books about it is mastergrill that dang that good or something like it, the turkey was jenny O turkey and said what the heck. Never again.

I think I've played it pretty safe. I've ordered Sweet Sam's, Authentic Gourmet croissants, and My Grandma's CoffeeCakes. My favorite is Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory which I also send to relatives as gifts.
All of those food items have been excellent.

I've had both hits and misses with foods I've ordered from QVC.
The all-time winner (my opinion only): the Authentic Gourmet croissants. I've reordered them many, many times. Have not found any better croissants locally.
I've also liked the Germack gourmet cashews, Squirrel Brand buttercream nuts, Jimmy the Baker cinnamon rolls, and Bubba's BBQ Ribs. Was not so pleased with the Racine kringles or Cheryl's cookies. Strawberry Hill povitica was just OK. Haven't ordered anything that was inedible, but there have been other foods I would not reorder.
BTW, if anyone is looking for a good crab cake that isn't super high priced, Costco has some good ones. All good quality crab meat, and it's like 6 crab cakes for under $20.

Stop eating ham. It's cruel.

Just have to wonder why there are so many changes to what used to be offered...disappointed.
@Gabidog If you have a Trader Joe's in your area, they sell Almond Kringle around the holidays. Right now they have the Pumpkin Kringle, but closer to Thanksgiving and Christmas they should have the almond back in stock.
My Trader Joe's sells the kringles year round. And much less expensive than QVC.

What company on earth would think that the sender's information would not be important.... I'm floored. I would have called as well, wanting to know who sent them to me. so I could thank them.
As far as QVC's food... I've dabbled in buying some since they started offering it. The last Junior's cheezecake I bought was roughly 15 years ago and was delicious, but so is one from our local bakery at a 1/3 the price.
I had complaints regarding bacon wrapped filets (tough and gristle...forget the company because I never bought them again)... Springfield Ham (don't ask).... oh and one of my biggest disappointments was the side dishes (four of them and forget the maker but they were just on recently)... very disappointing.
So needless t say I don't buy the food ....

For anyone who wonders, they are very similar (very) to the pale (as in not browned at all), tasteless frosted and sprinkled Lofthouse brand of packaged cookies in every supermarket chain bakery everywhere that sell for like $5-6/dozen. I did not think there were one whit better.

I can understand why some people in certain circumstances will purchase mail-order prepared foods around the holidays in order to have or contribute a special dish or dessert. I can also understand buying yourself a treat (I have certainly done this).
But definitely when I lived in the city there were just as good/better, less expensive options I could buy all over town without the huge feeling of being "taken" you can have when you've spent double or triple the normal amount on something that is yucky or just mediocre.
Not as many options rurally, but Costco has a wide variety of excellent quality foods of all kinds, and there are still good local restaurants and bakeries to source from.
I've just about stopped (not quite and never say never) succumbing to temptation for the simple reason that I've very seldom gotten true quality for the amount spent.
