I used to order quite a bit of food from them, usually desserts and/or foods I could not easily find in the stores here. But I no longer indulge in the sweets and the $$$ has become unreasonable. I really used to like watching Rachel but that is changing, and Alberti doesn't seem sincere to me.

What?!?!?!

You mean three pounds of chicken parts ( culls I would bet) dusted with a little smoked paprika and ketchup are NOT "gourmet" and worth 30 dollars a pound?!?!??!?!

And the  pork TV dinners....I see that offered and I always get a good laugh out of it....the meal itself looks like something I'd throw into a divided plate on the third day of pulled pork leftovers....what is that ...a quarter cup of baked beans on the side?

In my opinion i feel they are including shipping charges in the horrible costs for food.Somebody has to be paying for that. I saw the chicken bites but the cost kept me from buying along with most every thing else. I am still getting the bagels for a cheaper price due to auto delivery after the a/d is over i won't pay the higher costs.

This is my issue with the FOOD Shows...

What’s the deal with the QVC hosts and presenters MAULING the food?1

Whether its cookies, fudge, coffee cake, snack bars…they break it in half, put the 2 pieces on top of each other, and maul, squeeze and tear the food apart…their fingers/hands are then covered with the mess they created…crumbs, mush..ug!

…and with meats they keep cutting the pieces and squishing down on the food to show how “juicy” it is.

Besides what they do to the food, most need a feign’ manicure!
This is REVOLTING!

I am convinced that the hosts do not eat all day when they are making food presentations.  They eat the food as if they were starving.  They remind me of guests who come to a social function and go to the food first thing as they walk in the door.

People will complain no matter what the hosts do.  I recall during the pandemic the forums were rife with posts actually complaining the hosts DIDN'T eat the food. They can't win!  smh

I have bought food before from the presentations but it never lived up to the hype.

This is so true!  I've bought quite a few food products from Q and it's rarely been something I liked enough to purchase again.  Ex.-don't get all the hype around Junior's cheesecake. And so expensive! Years ago I got it for the first time and was underwhelmed to say the least. And I've found most Q food items don't taste any better than what you can get at your local grocery store deli. And your local store's a lot cheaper.

So you don't do the happy dance or make those faces of ecstacy when you eat the food?Smiley Surprised

@lgfan  Ha!  No, not quite but I do like David and his "happy dance".  I have found dif. hosts' exaggerated facial expressions rather over the top!
