How dare you QVC make a beautiful model walk out onto the stage with a size that is too small. Im talking about tonight's special value blazer from Joan Rivers. I wont name the model because they are all beautiful. If you cant find a size to look right on the model then dont make them walk out there to be embarrassed. So Bad!!! you should be ashamed .

I don't think the people who are " dressing " the models look to see how each individual item looks. They just have a size sample in whatever the model size is listed as .
As we all know the cut/ style of a garment may not be flattering on all body shapes or the dimensions of a garment may vary by an inch or two in various styles or clothing lines .
Have seem some models try to buttom a jacket and they could not as the item was too tight .
Even have sen the Host Shawn recently button a jacket and it looked really too tight- she must have seen herself and took the item off right away
Wait till they start up with bathing suits to tight or the so called " fully fashioned bottoms " where to much derriere is showing or the swim skirts are too short

I own this blazer in white. Have had it for years. Nice fit, true to size. Great for summer.

I took one look at the group of models and Mary the host and said no thanks. That blazer looks just too shy on everyone, on the taller models it looks too short and there is a gap in front that stands out that makes it look ill fitting. I'm 5'9 and I can see this is not designed for me.
It's hard for me to imagine a jacket that is 100% cotton except for the spandex is not going to wrinkle easily.

I don't care for the gathering in the back of the jacket at all. Don't like how they look on the models. They look like they borrowed somebody's jacket and it is too small for them. Who's dressing these models?

I'm quite sure the models are thankful to be working even if they don't particularly love what they are displaying. Only someone who has worked inboth the warehouses and backstage can properly assess blame for poor fit.
As for me - when I don't like how a garment looks on the models, I assess my own figure and decide what it might do to that garment. I learn a whole lot from seeing the 'don't wear this" as opposed to the items that fit a model whose figure has few or none of my issues.
I've washed off whole brands over the years by knowing what my body calls for. Even very well made clothes that are perfectly good for many women are often usless to me. It's unlikely just redressing a model will loosen my model belt!

Look at all the wrinkles on the sleeve of the blazer that Leah is wearing this morning. What a hot mess that would look like after wearing all day. Hard pass

Easy pass. I don't wear blazers and if I did I couldn't wear it until at least November if then.

IMHO a blazer or jacket should look large enough across the chest to button it. Even if you never close it, it shouldn't end short of that like on Leah.
