Well if that’s the case Naomi Watts will probably be her first guest then. She made an appearance in Vegas telling Jane T and Sandra Bennet about some of it.

You might want to change the channel then if female talk bothers you because it will be a real topic.

@JamesTheDude I find your raging about this host more disturbing than anything she or any other host has said. If it bothers you don't watch. You can't control how others behave. Why worry about it?

@CalminHeart   Did the CEO give any reason for the direction QVC is making with these 50+ shows?

Look up Naomi Watts by searching her name or Stripes the name of her new brand.

And actually now it’s making sense why Carla and Shawn brought up the subject to begin with!!!

They’re getting Naomi Watts ready for her brands launch!

The CEO has been talking about making Q an entertainment place for years. He thinks it'll draw viewers and increase sales.

The newest schtick is that viewers and Q are one big family. Hosts are not our friends or acquantances. To think they are more than salespeople means someone fell for the schtick.

Big corporations will say and do anything to make sales and profits. They are not interested in people unless they can do something for them, like buy products.

I wish people would stop being so naive about how big corporations function. I spent nearly 40 years at higher levels in a huge corp and know what I'm talking about.

Re: Fifty And Fabulous???

[ Edited ]

QVC  has become one big Reality show  with Shawn as the  loud obnoxious crude talking  QVC Housewife.

I think she's infatuated with  Bradley Cooper  and   might  be trying to  get him  to sell his food truck Philly sand on QVC

Hate to think abt what crudeness will erupt  between Shawn & Malley over Naomi Watts 's Stripe brand  vaginal wellness products

@CalminHeart  QVC as entertainment is something that was intended from the very beginning, decades before this CEO.  QVC/CVN was started with former game show producers on the board of directors.  They always wanted the shopping experience to be about entertainment.

That's why they incorporated those lottery style games with Kathy Levine selecting the winning numbers, the costumes for Gold Rush Days, the Christmas songs and readings, the St. Patrick's Days skits, etc.

It's just that today's definition of entertainment is very different.  Social media and reality TV have made it a whole different landscape.

But QVC as entertainment is nothing new.  It's just very different.

That may be true. The sad part is that now anything goes as entertainment even if it's low brow and demeaning.
