Ever Notice?

Ever notice that certain hosts will say "I have this at my house & use it all the time", then they ask the presenter how do I do xyz with it? To me it just shows that they DON'T have one at home. If the did, they would know the answer.

I think they want the vendor to explain maybe what they can't as well, or maybe just to bring the vendor into the conversation.

It does not necessarily mean they do not have and use the product - just asking important questions as a way to present important information! Infomercials and commercials use that technique all the time. Also an interviewing technique used to get needed info that the person being interviewed did not address.

@Carolina925 I suspect you're right - the hosts might well be able to provide answers, but they also have to have a lead in to the vendors.

By the way - as far as having a particular item in the house, I have so many small appliances I use often, but I use them for the same few tasks over and over. I'm sure every one of my possessions could do far more than I ask it to do!

@millieshops So true for me as well!

I have the Oster counter Airfryer+. I use it nearly every single day for either airfrying or toasting. There are 8 additional settings in it that I have never used.

One setting is called "Turbo Convect." I can only imagine my food flying all over the inside of the oven until done.

@millieshops and @Caaareful Shopper , I'm the same way. I've had my VitaMix for probably 10 years and still only use it for my protein drinks My air fryer gets used mainly for roasting veggies. The best excuse I can give is that I cook/prepare food for only me so I give myself a pardon! I do need to venture out, however.

There is some truth I think. There is one host that has said numerous times its the only mascara i use...2 weeks ago she said the same thing about another brand. We are listening people. Not that it matters because I would never buy anything just because a host says its the best and the only one she uses...clearly some lie to those truths.
