Qurate's 1st Qtr 2023 earnings release is scheduled for May 5th.  So in less than a month we'll see if they've at least stopped the hemorrhaging, or if they're still seeing double-digit decreases.

@CalminHeart  I agree with what you have posted.  TPTB do not listen to their customers, and think they know better.  They do not evidently.  Hemorrhaging money for years, stock that has tanked, lay offs. etc, etc,.

Though I do stream for movies and shows, I do not use it for shopping, nor will I, especially for the Q.  the same Tired old products and even lamer unwatchable hosts.  QVC is trying to play catch up on modern tech. They should have started a while ago. Just goes to show you TPTB don't know what they are doing and it shows.

Not desperation...it is called 'marketing strategies'...only time will tell if any of them work!

Hours and HOURS of meetings of the 'minds' go into coming up w/ this stuff.

Digital broadcastings are the way of things now...not for me, LOL....but all sites use some sort of blogging, instagramming (sic?) etc.

All these modes are out there and if a company is smart, they will use them.

@RespectLife @Especially since the way people watch TV has changed so much. There's less time spent watching regular TV with networks and more time spent watching in other ways. Q had previously only concentrated on regular TV. They are trying to expand to meet the needs of how people watch today. This expansion is one of the Qurate's main goals stated in Project Athens three year plan.

Exactly!

It's a new world when it comes to watching!

I'm still old school, LOL, not streaming or podcasting anything!

The Q has a bad habit of instead of fixing problems on hand, they move on to something new. And they always forget about existing customers in their rush ahead.

I have always loved QVC’s fashions. For months now they have been bad and unappealing. They seem to be using cheap cotton in a lot of things which does not appeal to me. That’s my opinion. They are also overpriced. I’m only into the TV presentations. I don’t watch livestreams. I shop online like I might do with other merchants, but QVC’s lack of good sales and return charges have caused me to do a hard reset. Also this economy - I’m not buying the amount of clothes I used to and if I do buy some, it’s usually from my B&M store where I can return items in person with no charge and immediate reimbursement.
