For those interested in Dan's Facebook comments he posted.
Apparently some people let him know they are angry at Carolyn for returning to a place that laid her off. Dan gave his thoughts....

He sounds bitter.

That is an interesting post. It sounds like both of them have found new endeavors. Dan explained it all.

Well said Dan. Gracious post, and glad he did that.
I feel the same as far as Carolyn's choice...brave, wise, and why not?! I loved her gardening shows, because it's a true passion of hers, she brings joy to the presentations and I'm interested in seeing what she's brought to her line.
I also think she did this ~ created a company, found (or had mfrd) products, started her own brand, etc, in a pretty short frame of time, good for her. I wish her much success and look forward to watching her upcoming shows. 🌼🌱🌸🪴🌺
I mean, why burn a bridge that can serve her in a different way now, why not turn lemons to lemonade...and isn't "living well the best 'revenge'."

I did not interpret his post as bitter. He stated the facts and now we know what happened.

@Caaareful Shopper Thanks for posting Dan's comments. I doubt I would have seen them if that weren't here on the Forums. I understand and agree with much of what Dan believes. It's especially helpful to me that the comment comes from someone who himself has trod the same path.
I no longer have much planting space, but I will tune into check on Carolyn's line. I have great respect for her knowledge - and she has a voice I can easily listen to!

Wow, didn't sound bitter, in the least, to me. Different perspectives.
Very nice of him to do that and support her new endeavor by responding to negative remarks, that she herself won't likely address. Good on him.

@Group 5 minus 1 I don't think bitter may be the right term. However, Dan has posted multiple FB posts directing his quite candid attitude towards QVC since he's been gone. He has a standard phrase, "that company that fired me after giving it 30 years..."
At least it's his honest feelings. I respect that. But sometimes it's best to not post everything you feel online for it to live forever.

@Caaareful Shopper Thanks so much for sharing this post. I just knew neither of them could've possibly been happy about being let go. Both talked about expensive purchases whether in the form of homes, rv's, renovations etc. There's just no way most people with monthly bills and obligations would ever be fine with losing their jobs.
