You have shared information that is not accurate, CVS is not going under:

CVS Health is closing 900 stores over the next three years, amounting to about 10% of its footprint, in response to the changing of “consumer buying patterns.”

The drug store chain said Thursday that the closures will result in a retail presence that ensures it has the “right kinds of stores in the right locations for consumers and for the business.  Many of the stores are old and require renovation or are in locations that retail is no longer located." Year to date CVS stock is up 40%."

@Bella2022  - You should change your heading.  CVS is not going under.  This is how rumors get started.

Pharmacist and pharmacy tech labor shortages are happening across all the retail drugstore chains.  Many are offering sign on bonuses to lure qualified workers away from their current positions.

It doesn't surprise me that they are laying off. While every corporation does it, they always lay off people before other cuts...and the CEOs never take cuts.

CVS moved into my state about 15 years ago, built huge/ugly stores, and charged more than any other pharmacy. It took just a few years for most of them to close.

Nope , he never complained about that.

He had one customer who just had a hysterectomy and she showed him pictures of the organs she had the surgeon to take.

My hand to God !  He said "have a nice day, next ".
