Won't let me post the photo...I do like the look of this, I recently put on my Wish List to go back and check it out at another time. Reviews are good. Dainty, pretty design. Unless in person it is teenier than it looks.

I haven't bought any Affinity jewelry since Michael (?) was the brand person for the line.

I also have a couple of pieces from back then that are still really pretty and I still wear them often.   I have also noticed the poor reviews on many items lately, people stating the quality has changed.  I did buy more recently a beautiful pair of stud earrings (diamonique on HSN) set in 14k gold and they are so real looking, just beautiful.  Not gold plated either and priced very reasonably.

I tried to post this days ago but forum issues wouldn't allow it. So....

I have Affinity items via my moms' estate that go WAY back; like back to when they first began airing the line. The difference between those items and what they sell now is apple and oranges; the old stuff was really.....poor quality. Diamond chips in gold or sterling silver. Heavy weight but the diamonds really were junk.

I started purchasing Affinity about 3 years ago or so. I missed out on some AMAZING specials due to not having the money then (won't go into debt for "wants"). No, you don't get paperwork with your items but I have to ask:  why are you buying it in the first place? Diamonds aren't for investment (unless you buying RARE stones) and we know the mark-up in gold is outrageous (again, not going to get what you paid for it if you choose to sell it for the gold) so as long as it sparkles and is gorgeous, what is the issue? Also, the items I've purchased have always appraised for much more than I paid as well as more than what the QVC suggested retail value may be; again...pretty good.

I have a few items from the store with the little blue box. Gifts or else I would return them because for the price, they diamonds don't sparkle anywhere near the way my Affinity items do. They simply don't.

IMHO, do your research and understand you're purchasing the same diamonds that the majority of retailers are selling for FAR MORE than QVC (especially when on sale). If you have it checked out and it isn't what you want, return it. I love the Affinity line. Just wish they'd bring some higher carat weight items like they used to.
