Now I know for sure I'm moving on - to a different group completely.

 

Three years ago there with the retired vet the fee for a basic dental cleaning (no extractions) was $295.  I just got an estimate from the new vet  (I found out he's the owner) and the basic fee is now $975.  

 

I went on our local town Facebook page and asked what people in my neighborhood are getting charged for the basic fee and the highest one ($600) was still almost $400 over what his fee is.   

 

Time to move on to a new group!

My vet has "senior" vetern & disability discounts as well as all the animal hospitals in my neck of the woods.

"Never argue with a fool. Onlookers may not be able to tell the difference."
