Heartfelt Thanks Grace Co.  IN August 37 days after the death of mly sister, my oldest living brother died and we did not even know he was fighting cancer.  I have been heart broken this summerer.  Our big family of 8 is suddenly reduced to 3 and one of those has the terrible parotid cancer in his face.  The 7 yr old heads into her 3rd round of chemo next week and my brother with face cancer is going on 4th straight week of both chemo and radiation at same time having lost many weeks trying to recover after the original diagnosis and surgery in june before treatment could begin.  I'm always grateful for Louis's clothes in the midst of major trouble and sorrow.  Don't have to think about what to wear and look so much betteer than one feels.  Haven't been in many Linea "lines" thouh this summer..  We are calling it the summer of cancer and death and machinery malfunction at our home.  Tragedy and annoying costly repairs seem to pile upon each other.  Just trying to make it through this season of grief.  So nice to read your kind words.

@TheOwl

I'm so sorry to hear about your brother's passing and family members battling cancer. You've had a really tough summer. I know what you mean about clothing helping us to look better than we feel during a tragic, sad time. Somehow looking forward to a new season is a welcome reprieve from the grief. I'm hoping you find relief and eventually joy in the coming months. Take good care.

I feel your pain.

My problem didn't get resolved totally. I spent so much time trying to get my refunds actually credited to my CC, and at a certain point, the amount owed was no longer worth my time. All I got was repeated "form letter" emails, instead of an update showing progress on a resolution. Like Groundhog Day! Contacting the social team helps, but even then, it was frustrating and fruitless. I finally got one credit and gave up on the other. As a result, I have already scaled back on purchases, unless I'm 100% sure that what I'm buying will fit and not necessitate a return. With jewelry, if I'm on the fence, I won't buy it.

Life is too short for this aggravation from a retailer.

@GraceCO   I understand your frustration and sorry you had to go through this.  The Q is profiting by those who just give up or don't bother to check the returns on their bills, but  you are right, at some point the time and effort spent is not worth it.  Going forward I too will only order items I'm sure will fit and avoid impulse purchases.

Re: Problems with Refunds for QVC Returns

I also have had the same problem with returns when I dont use the prepaid labels.  Keep your USPS tracking number (if you use the post office).  I have called and given them the tracking and date it arrived at their location.  They refunded the money to my account but if I look at my order status, it doesnt indicate returned.

Bottom line sometimes it is cheaper to return the item without using the prepaid label, so KEEP your receipt with the tracking number on it.

All good advice. What you describe was not my problem and one that was unexpected.

My returns were ALL credited as "refunded" to my account. The problem was...the refunds were not credited back to my credit cards.

Everyone needs to check that what they see online in their accounts as "refunded" is actually credited back to the original form of payment. Otherwise, there is no refund at all!

Re: Problems with Refunds for QVC Returns

Thank you SO much Grace CO.  Yes life does indeed go on but we are still going on in lurching mode.  Brother made it through 4 of 7 chemo/radiation at same time treatments.  But the last two have been brutal as the chemo accumulates in the body. Hate having FALL without whisperknits .  Missing the latest midi I was hoping for.  But in good news so far the year has found me dropping off 53 pounds.  Slowly and in health.  That makes some of my fashions in Linea in smaller sizes fit very comfortably again.  This is important when i can't get my mind out of the grieving loop that can play on my mind for hours at night.  If I switch gears  mentally and begin thinking of colors and what goes with what I can derail the loop and fall asleep.  That's a blessed relief.

@TheOwl  I was also looking forward to the WK midi skirts! When I saw them sellout, I thought for sure QVC would reorder them. They are so on trend this year, especially!!! I was hoping for navy, camel, loden green, maybe...Such a disappointment. I will never understand the decisions made by the buyers.

Good to hear the fashions are a reprieve for you. It's a tough thing to see loved ones go through chemo and even tougher to lose them. Take good care of yourself.

Re: Problems with Refunds for QVC Returns

After waiting weeks for my return of a dress and a pair of shoes to be logged in as received I still have not received a credit of either item.  When ( after 2 days) I finally talked to a customer service rep ( who was quite polite) I was told the dress had been processed for a refund but there was no mention of the shoes in the same return.  If that is not bad enough there still has not been a credit for even the dress posted to my Discover account.  Now I have to start all over.  Does anyone have ayy suggestions?

Re: Problems with Refunds for QVC Returns

@GraceCO  I'm sorry your refunds aren't being credited back to your account. Is this using the Q card?

I will probably call next week on my non Q card credit card as to what is going on with refunds. The blue striped kimono was 'defective' as the hem was part black & that chartreuse color. The replacement ended on the blue stripe and it was solid. The black/chartreuse looked like it hadn't been screen printed properly.

Check your hems on the kimono. If you notice in the videos on either FB or on the Q, the kimono shows the blue hemline.

Re: Problems with Refunds for QVC Returns

Hi GraceCo,

I feel and share your frustration.  I don't know what else you can do.  After 25 years, I've stopped shopping with QVC.  That's what it's come to for me.  I love Linea and Louis Dell Olio but I really don't NEED anything and now I don't have the aggravation of QVC's appalling lack of customer service.

After all these years, QVC and the ladies here have become familiar 'friends'.  I enjoy checking in with the Forums but I can live without ordering anything.
