DD and I are tea totallers. We always use a tea pot. We both have a variety. It depends upon which teas I brew as to which pots I use.

That Pfaltzgraff is beautiful!

Oh yeah! And always from a tea cup.

I adore tea, the entire process, using a pot is relaxing to me. Could you tell more regarding-

I'd love to know what teas are best in which pots.

Maybe it's just my little eccentricity....

I use a yixing tea pot for my greens.

A stump tea pot for matcha.

For loose black tea I use a different one with the infuser, which I have in a few colors.

These 3 I use every day.

A glass one for those tea flowers that unfold....

The china ones are for decoration or for company, but more often than not, I serve guests their own tea pot....

Curve Teapot with Infuser, 24 oz (Multiple Colors)

For everyday black.

Yixing Tea Pot #4 5oz capacity beautiful on sale

The xyiging, for the greens (which you don't wash out)

Stump Teapot with Infuser 18 oz (Multiple colors)

For matcha.

I recently uncovered a box that had a Pfaltzgraff teapot in it that I had purchased years ago and only used as a display because it was so beautiful.  I am wondering now if making tea in a teapot is gone for good and only making tea in mugs are the norm.  How do you make your tea?  Here is a pic of my teapot.

I realize that things should be used for whatever it is they're intended; however, I'd use this for display and brew my tea in a mug.

This is too beautiful to subject to stains or breakage. Heart

Beautiful teapot!

I love tea---but sadly I make my tea in mugs and use the herbal tea bags....  I have bought "the ball" to use the fresh tea leaves but its still in the package....
