It smells so wonderful in the house with the pot roast cooking. YUM!!! Can't wait to eat dinner. I think I will just put it all in a bowl with more broth & eat a bowl of stew.

Sounds great! We have had so many zucchini from the garden that we are having zucchini boats again. I alternate Mexican and Italian fillings. Corn on the cob and corn bread to go with.

Tonight I am making hot dogs and beans, with sauerkraut. I’ll serve it on crusty Italian bread and German mustard. It is not the healthiest meal but there are times when the goodies of childhood call our name. I promise I’ll make something healthy tomorrow.

@Vivian I've never seen, heard or thought of that combo but it sounds delicious!

Taco salad! I've got enough taco meat & romaine for 5 or 6 salads.

@Vivian  I've been craving elbow noodles and tomato sauce (not spaghetti)  We used to have that with fish sitcks on Friday nights.

That sounds different. I like zucchini bread & chocolate zucchini cake. DH did not plant any zucchini in the garden this year. Have a lot of green beans, jalenpeno peppers & okra.

We all eat stuff we should not but at least we don't do it every day.

Sounds yummy.  DH will be asking for chicken fried steak soon since we usually only eat it a couple times per year.
