Does this man ever work ? He seems to be on vacation almost every month. I don't recall Bob Bowesox missing this many episodes. Really wish they would go back to using Bob in the kitchen.

Heavens forbid! I dont; Bob Bowersox is the last thing we need. David is a sweetheart and I'm sure gets vacation leave in accordance with QVC policy. He's been there a long time. Jill's doing a nice job.

@Reever ...... OMG I can’t believe you actually took the time to write this on the forum!! ..... So what if David is on vacation .... he does not have to report to you .... get over it & change the channel if you are not happy with the host that is filling in .... by the way BB has been gone for years & I don’t think they will be bringing him back!!!

Not a fan of David and his faces and his dances. I preferred a more professional trained chef such as Bob. I realize he is no longer employed and from what I understand he is doing quite well in Key West doing theatre but they need to use someone who can actually cook in the kitchen. All David seems to do is reheat things like potstickers. Why don't they use Mary Beth who obviously has cooked all her life for her family ? The attention to detail in Davids presentations sticks out like a sore thumb.

Disagree, David seems to take the holidays off, to go home to NC...Easter, July 4th, Thanksgiving, Xmas and New Year's...often the full week, so he misses Wed and Sun. But he's been there a long time and deserves vacation, and lucky enough to get those weeks he wants.

Bob has been gone for 10 years and he has moved on to better things. I am sure he took vacation days just like everyone else.

Why bring this up now?

QVC is not a cooking school and David seems to be able to move merchandise at a pretty fast pace.

Imagine how you would feel if a perfect stranger went into a public forum at your place of employment and said you didn’t do your job well and stuck out like a sore thumb and you should be replaced.

Bowersox was let go so I wouldn't get my hopes up. David Venable worked right up until December 23 and then took two weeks vacation. Big whoop. He is there a heck of a lot more than some of the younger hosts who seem to take a vacation every other month.
