@Othereeeen same here with bare canned cat food shelves. I can usually find my picky feline's favs at Amazon . Their prices are about the same --sometimes better than local stores. I usually feed them 'peoples' tuna a few xs weekly --it is sometimes cheaper than cat food.
I have not checked out turkeys yet . But the grocery ads don't seem too high--yet
.

Your post reminded me of what happened to my husband and I at Christmas. We like to have turkey Christmas Day. Because of the lockdown, we ordered our groceries and had them delivered. The note I posted beside my 12 pound turkey order was that substitutions could be made for the size but it had to be a Butterball.
We opened the front door after the delivery driver left, and there was the largest Butterball I have ever seen. It was either 26 or 28 pounds for two people. It was about a week before Christmas so we put it in the fridge to start defrosting. I pulled the old Butterball paper cooking instructions that once came with every bird (I keep it in my recipe file) and there were no instructions for a bird of that heavy weight.
We used our judgment, seasoned, wrapped it in heavy duty foil, placed it in the roasting pan Breast Side Down. It was too large to fit properly in the pan. It had to cook quite a while, but it was without a doubt the best turkey we have ever had. For 2 people. LOL

Yes, have had my 2 Honeysuckle White turkey breasts for about 2 weeks now. My daughter was in WalMart as they were being stocked.

The Costco stores in our area sell discounted gift cards to various restaurants and businesses. Sam's Club doees the same for selected restaurants.
We get discounted Honey Baked Ham store cards at Costco and use them often for picking up slices of ham or turkey, and for great sandwiches and salads. We have two HB stores not far from us.
If available in your area, the HB stores are a good place to know if needing to order a turkey breast or whole or half ham, plus some good-looking traditional side dishes to feed a small crowd.

Got my turkey breast a few weeks ago because I have trouble finding them. I have every thing I need except bread, celery and onions to make my dressing.

Last week ALdi here in W. PA had BB turkeys for 1.38 per pound, ( I posted this earlier on this thread)...
Just got myAldi circular for this Wednesday .....87 cents per pound, limit two.
So the prices are coming down some, at least at Aldi! They had a TON of BB turkeys last week when I was there ( thursday).
