what a fun hour with The Cake Boss🙂🙂🙂🙂☹️

well she had gotten two yummy 4 layer cakes with delicious yellow & chocolate layers the filling was chocolate mousse😋😋😋

He was wonderful hard to really see him on small screen but his daughter joined in on the zoom call.  I think they had 50 people on.  He showed exactly how to decorate cakes giving pointers allowing questions -- very personable which I was surprised.

Here are the 2 finished cakes -- needless to say she had a awesome experience and we had yummy cake🥰🥰

@Just Bling

Yes but a buttercream icing so the fondant went over it.

It was actually not sweet like I've had -- all the decorations were made out of fondant.

Fondant  .....she'll need a sheeter!

then an empty building for a bakery

a self starting entrepreneur in the family....she'll be able

to pay her way through culinary school then....how fun it this!

thanks for sharing all of this, I had no idea it even existed.  I wonder what Duff Goldman has for the kids?  I know he has a baking show for kids on Discover Plus but not sure of anything else.

She's the future of the Food Network, everyone on the network except Molly Neh of course is getting ready to retire, they have their restaurants, made the money and the Network is ready for new people.

What about the Kid's Baking Champion...that would be an idea

Those are adorable. The best part is that she enjoyed the experience.

That's terrific and they look so good! A few years ago, Buddy had an evening show where he cooked a meal with a guest, explaining the ingredients and procedure as he went along. I was surprised at how personable he was - much different from his Cake Boss image. Where Cake Boss could be hard to watch due to his tantrums, this evening show was a pleasure to watch.

@Etoile308 Who is this "she" that everyone is referring to?

@Ladybug724

About a week or so ago, HomeDecor1 shared with us that her granddaughter was an avid baker.  Her (the granddaughter's mom) paid for a cooking class online with The Cake Boss.

HomeDecor1 posted a picture of the cakes she made with her online class.

I didn't even know that was available and you have the rest of the story.

I have tasted fondant.  Although it can make beautiful decorations, the taste isn't there at all!  Talk about no flavor! Ick!
