Just thought I'd mention what I just discovered yesterday that when I would put my baby carrots in locknlocks, after a while they were slimy.  I put them in my Tupperware container, the tall blue ones, older than the hills, and they were just as fresh as when I first put them in there, and it was weeks.

Also locknlocks keep breaking tabs. I'm so glad I saved a bunch of my Tupperware thru all these years.

Tupperware is much better than locknlock.  Lock and Lock is not air tight.

No doubt, Tupperware is much better than Lock & Lock.

Re: Tupperware verses Locknlock

I have more L&L than I can find places for. I have never had it not hold or stay air tight. I am fairly clumsy and my fridge is usually not too organized and also full, but when I drop L&L it stays together. I do not think Tupperware would.

I especially like the glass L&L with vented lids.I have refrigerated, frozen, microwaved, and baked in them and never broken them.

I have Tupperware from years ago that I still use for storage and it has held up. I do not have any I use in the kitchen. When I was a newlywed(100 years ago? Smiley Happy ) it was the lusted after product for many. I always hated being invited to a Tupperware party though. The budget was tight and I worried about hurting feelings, so I usually purchased the lowest cost offered itemSmiley Happy

@Candycane10   That's what I've always done as well.

Remmber we used to "burp" the Tupperware to get the air out.  L&L doesn't claim to get the air out.  I also have had the tabs come off.

I 💖 my lock n locks for everything!

I learned a hard lesson changed over my pantry to the OXO containers -- big mistake☹️ I found didn't keep my grains or other things "fresh" like my old lock n lock pantry sets.

Of course, LNL didn't offer the flip lid pantry sets any longer on Q.  I tossed my older ones so now hoping they'll bring back the pantry sets.

As for the quality of Tupperware now I don't know @gloriajean

I love the lock and lock pantry sets. I purchased several when QVC had those available. I have also used lots of Tupperware but it does not compare to lock and lock when it comes to lasting freshness.

@Candycane10 ---I do that too--but then I store my produce in green bags.

Re: Tupperware verses Locknlock

I like to do my own shopping.  If I purchase the short cut carrots I do try to use them quickly.  They can almost be bad when you get them.  I've also seen them dried out and split.  How old are they even in the store? Geez.  I wonder if that is why they are on sale so often.  Some of the baby carrots are huge!
