Has anyone seen the Coconut Cashews? They are in the same location with the nuts and trail mixes. I don't know if they have been discontinued or if they don't carry them in the stores I go to.

21 Season Salute has a shaker lid...no grinding. It works fine. Maybe the occasional clogged hole.

I don't like to shop there but my youngest adult daughter adores Trader Joe's. I send her gift certificates to there all of the time.

I bugged the TJ's at Denver Colorado constantly asking when they would open. They finally did and she was a happy camper.

Glad others like it because that means it will stay open for a long time for those who like it.

I think it seems to me that people who are interested in what they eat (healthy) and plan what they eat, etc are especially interested in shopping at TJ's.

I like that!

TJs has been in the LA area for a long time. Out there, they were our corner store. It's in other areas that they became a status store.

TJs, like any grocer, sells a variety of items: organic, healthy, packaged, processed, sinful, etc. They aren't overpriced like Whole Foods and they sell difference items than the chain grocers.

I'm glad people like it. I just wish folks outside of LA knew the potential of Trader Joes.

Honny-thx for initiating this thread & your suggestions! I like your subject matters. Enough conflict, sad news and doom n gloom that we can't escape (qvc-can we please stop the sad speculation robin williams threads??????). Shopping is a nice distraction. Pork Belly is on our next shopping list. For a small store, they have some great options, unique items, excellent quality and very competitive prices. Their price points are a key reason for us to shop there-no club cards or coupons and still they beat pricing for many if not most large grocery chains. They also have a great reputation for employee relations/benefits - that's an important factor as more & more companies shift jobs to overseas markets or strip benefits. Thx to Caitlin, Bailey, et al-Great to read recommendations for products that we haven't tried. Yesterday, TJ's offered samples of a new product-lamb meatballs. Very very good, cooked and frozen for quick meals. And another clerk was walking around with a package of cookie samples. Everyone in the store was munching. We should do this TJ's share/recommend monthly!!!
