If you like Nutella you better stock up before the prices go way up. They said there is a shortage of hazelnuts & the price would skyrocket.

This is good news for me! I hope it goes up to $10 a jar! I love this stuff but I really do not need to be eating it. Maybe if the prices get high enough I will stop buying it! LOL

Just bought a big jar, I love it.....will have to ration it out to myself, lol. Oh well, I need to give it up anyway, more un-necessary calories that I don't need.

How sad! I was watching The Weather Channel the other day. They have a segment where they monitor drought and California is in big trouble. We can bank on a lot of food price increases, but even bottled water is going to go up, be it spring sourced or filtered. I had no idea how many bottled waters come from there. Needless to say the price of wine is going to soar as well. Even if they do get rain, it's going to take a long time to recover. Poodlepet

Costco has it in a two pack. I got my back to school lunch stuff last week.

I'm crazy about it but let's face it, it's not the healthiest snack. I can't keep a jar in the house because I love it so much that I can't stop eating it. What I do instead is once in a while I will buy one or two of "Nutella to Go" single serve packs - its safer that way!!!
