Lupicia has excellent teas, they can be ordered on line. I am not a fan of Teavana. I do not care for teas with flavorings added.

The Cultured Cup carries Mariage Freres tea from Paris - very high quality and delicious.

OK. I don't like flavored teas as a rule. I LOVE many of the Marriage Freres teas that are flavored, however because they don't have that artificial chemical taste that many other flavored teas have!

The almond, apricot, and a couple of others are my favorites (I still mostly drink non-flavored tea but do enjoy these). I have bought from Cultured Cup for many years and they are a great source for teas and coffee--they are located in Dallas TX and the owners really know their stuff! It is a small shop, and the people there really care about what they sell!

I have never heard of the Cultured Cup and I've lived in Dallas for over 20 years. I will have to check them out.

I just googled it. I don't get to that area much. I live in Uptown. I will try to make a trip over there. Looks like a nice place.

I go to Addison for Oktoberfest and some of the other festivals they have there. Thank you for the heads up about the lights.

And sorry for hijacking this thread. To get back on topic, I've seen Teavana stores at the malls but everytime I wanted to go in, they were packed. Since I will be heading to a couple for the holidays, I will try to peek inside one and check them out.

I'm not sure they have regular hours. They used to have a little tea shop and cafe in that shop area at the southeast corner of Preston Road (?) and Lover's Lane. At least as I remember that's where it was--in those little shops there. I haven't been to the new location, but have ordered from them since they moved. I wish they were back more in the area we frequent when we make it to Big D!
