I really like mine and the fact that it weighs less too.

I had the standard size, it took up too much space on the counter so it sat on a shelf and didn't get used but maybe once or twice because of the weight of it.

I'm able to leave the mini sitting on the cart next to my microwave and move it to the countertop without worrying about dropping it or hurting myself.

Does it hold a standard sized cake mix?  Enough to fit 2 9" pans or a 9 x 13 pan?  I have wondered about the content size in, "real life"!  LOL!!!

How many cookies can you bake from a batch made in it?  Does it have a recipe book and do they give hints about this?

@Sooner

Yes it does hold a regular boxed cake mix with plenty of room to spare.

I haven't done cookies in it yet, I think it says it will hold enough dough for 5 dozen.

Thanks because I have wondered about that.  Capacity in real life, not what the advertising says! LOL!!!

I am interested in the smaller size too. I didn't have the counter space for my large one and it was too heavy to move from the pantry. Gave it to my son. He bought me a lightweight Sunbeam, but the unit isn't steady when full. If the price drops 25% too I may have more incentive.

Re: Still thinking about the KA Mini

I just finished using mine to make banana bread and found myself wishing I had the flex-edge beater so I didn't have to stop and scrape the sides of the bowl  - then said to myself, wait a minute when you used the hand mixer you had to stop, so no I really don't need it or want it, just saved myself $30.
