I buy ultrapasteurized or organic whole milk.  I only buy a quart at a time but they usually last a long time.

i have noticed that some brands of milk turn sour quickly.  ido not buy any brand of krogwer milk.  it is justnot good.  ilike costco milk and darigold milk.  they seem to be the best.  also read the labels not all sour cream is real sour creaam  kroger and luceren brand are thickened milk with corn st arch.  why would you pay cream prices for milk that has corn starch init?  daisy and darigoild milk plus tillmon are really good products
