After making the same mistake years ago, I stopped mixing the sauce in with the spaghetti.  I keep them separate...put the cooked spaghetti on the plate, then top with however much sauce I want.  Much easier to "catch" a mistake with overcooked pasta, and not waste all the sauce if I goofed!

Who doesn't like overcooked pasta??? Enough to throw it out? Really? I love overcooked pasta. I'm retired and can't just willy-nilly throw out food.

Throw it out.  Don't waste more ingredients trying to morph it into something edible.

Just eat it, put leftover in fridge, pasta will soak up the sauce.

Re: Save the spaghetti?

IMO, overcooked cooked pasta is horrible.
No self respecting Italian would eat pasta other than if cooked "al dente".

Try saving your overcooked spaghetti by making Chinese tomato beef chow mein.  Add sliced green bell peppers, onions,  and (optional) curry powder if you like.👍. Use a little vegetable oil and stir fry on high heat to make the noodles crispy.  Non stick skillet or wok helps.

I love that sauce! It's so expensive I rarely buy it though.

@Mominohio   I guess we can agree on something even if it's only spagetti sauce. I try and stock up on when it's on sale.
