Re: Professional hack for re-heating pizza

If you have an air fryer, it heats up great in that too!

Re: Professional hack for re-heating pizza

The method that I have found most pleasing is to set my countertop convection oven to 275F for 20 minutes, preheat, and put the piece or two of pizza on some aluminum foil.  In it goes.

I've done the microwave heating in the way past and that was awful.   I've cranked up the big oven and that just seemed wasteful.

So, using the smaller oven, at a kind of low temp, seems to work great and not use a lot of energy.

The pan method in the OP sounds great, too.  Smiley Happy  Thanks!

@mima ITA! I think the pizza tastes better after putting in the air fryer then it does when you first buy it. We always buy a large pizza so there is always plenty left. I only eat 1-2 pieces & DH usually eats 2. He likes to take it to work & reheat in the air fryer.

Do you cover the slices with anything, @chickenbutt?

Thanks for your tip, and kisses to Tarz & Ru.  Smiley Happy

Re: Professional hack for re-heating pizza

Hi FG!  I do not cover it at all.  Just a sheet of aluminum foil underneath.

Thanks for your thoughts for my boys.  Smiley Happy  Ru just had his 6th birthday on the 22nd.  Man, I just can't believe it!  Tarz will be 19 in October.   Time flies when you're gettin' old, eh?

@chickenbutt:

Hi, chicky!

Thanks for the clarification. 8)

Please give a belated birthday hug to Ru for me... yep, time sure does seem to fly the older one gets.

Getting older is supremely better than the alternative though,  LOL.

Early birthday pats to Tarz as well.

Re: Professional hack for re-heating pizza

I've heated up pizza in a skillet for ages.  Works like a charm.  Crispy crust; no soggy pizza.
