I r.eceived the Primula pitcher today with plans to make iced coffee. The first problem is I can't get the top off to get to the insert. I am afraid to break it. It is on there like glue. 2nd problem is it didn't come with any instructions. So if I can ever get the top off, I have no idea how much coffee to put into the insert. What a terrible product. And if I try to send it back it would probably cost $8 to $10 to return. Wish I had never bought it.

@geegerbee.  If you got it from QVC and can't get the top off, send it back as defective.  No charge.

Go to the Primula website, there's instructions how to remove the lid & make coffee too. Look for Before First Use for the lid removal @geegerbee

Never thought they had a website. Will check it out. Thanks.
