suzyQ3 - I also have some Polish stoneware accent pieces, bowls and some bake ware. I don't have large, roasting size pieces, but maybe one day. Those are really expensive. For my main dinnerware, I prefer simpler designs - something more modern but textured. I also have some Mara stoneware mugs. I love Mara's artwork. The different collections just speak to me in different ways, but they all have an artisan quality.

Polish Stoneware is all I have now with rare exception. I also have some extras like the basket (which I've put candles that look and smell like Cinnabuns!), a Cheeze Lady, a Parm Shaker, quite a few pitchers (with one I use specifically for gravy), a cupcake piece, salt & pepper, sugar & creamer.... {#emotions_dlg.biggrin} and they DO speak to you. I know they're Polish and a lot different from the Norwegian Rosemaling (which I love) but the color and design just reminds me of it....

Absolutely gorgeous function and design....

FYI:

I don't always want a full table of Polish Stoneware so I bought multiple sets of Fiestaware in the fairly new color, Lapis.

It looks great together!

I have the Fiestaware older lighter yellow that would work, also. And the older lighter green. I think the rose might work, too.
