I refrigerate eggs as soon as I get home from the grocery store.  I don't refrigerate the other things until I need them and they've been opened.  However, once they've been opened, they go in the fridge.

Knowledge is knowing that a tomato is a fruit, but Wisdom is knowing not to put it in a fruit salad.

Eggs need to be refrigerated unless you are getting them from your own chickens and NOT washing them when you gather them from the coop.  There is a protective coating on them and once that is washed off they need to be refrigerated

No deaths reported on this board, so I think you can do what you want with these items (except eggs, too many reports of illness under the best of conditions). Peronally I refrigerate them, but I certainly don't throw anything away if it accidentally gets left out.  The only thing I am adamant about is potato salad.
