I don't indulge in potato chips anymore but I always ate them out of the bag. I live alone so the bag was mine. lol...

For sharing with others there would be a bowl. Or bowls...

If I am eating a sandwich I'll have a plate and if I have chips they will go on the plate as well. If I am just snacking on only chips, I'll eat out of the bag. Can't see the point of dirtying a plate/bowl for that when it's just me eating them. Even if I am eating them with one other person, then we'd pass the bag back and forth. I'd only put them in a bowl if I have a lot of people over and have a spread of food out for people to take a plate of whatever they want.

I put some in a bowl so I know how much I'm eating. I also don't like sticking my hand in the greasy bag for a few chips.

If I eat something like chips, pretzels, etc., yep. I eat them out of the bag. No I've never eaten an entire bag of anything in one sitting. DH and I actually both eat out of the bag.

It's just the 2 of us. Oh and we also both have been known to take a swig of milk right out of the jug. I really only drink milk to take a pill here and there and once in awhile for cereal. Dh and I kiss each other so what difference does it make if we drink out of the carton?

Some of you are speaking in riddles. I do no understand these words "fresh bag" and "stale". what's wrong with you? There has never been a stale chip in this house. Therefore, it is a fact that chips always taste fresh and don't go stale.

I like to take some chips out of the bag and put them in a paper towel or a small bowl. I find that this helps me not to overeat. If I have the bag in front of me, forget it! I cannot control myself!!
