Nightowlz, I absolutely love these Bread Machine Magic books. Up until today, I have been making the one pound loaves using my stand mixer. In most recipes they give two measurements of liquid, and they urge you to use the lesser amount and they give you a maximum. Using the stand mixer, I have had to always add more, but that could be an issue that the bread machine may be more efficient at kneading. Play-off the first time, I am making a loaf of Honey oatmeal in the machine. I'm glad I did check it: I usually just dump ingredients into the machine and that's it. I have never had a loaf that didn't turn out. My question for you: with these recipes, do you find that you have to police the liquid during the initial kneading? Thanks, Poodlepet

LOL!!! I'm here. I have always made bread in the bread machine. I always add the liquid ingredients first & add the dry. I start the machine & never look at it until it beeps when it's finished. All the loaves I have made have turned out.
