Shop HQ sells Waggoner and qvc sells Harry London,,,,,Which is better?...I tried Harry London....I thought they were nothing special.....seems as if they once the same company from what I have read......thanks

When they had the recent HL TSV there were several threads on this. Many people said they thought that Waggoners were now superior since someone else took over HL.

They sold the Harry London name and then started the Waggoner business in Canton, OH (not far from here), so it's the same family. I still buy the Harry London from QVC, but I also love the mint meltaways from SHQ. You can get those in all milk, all dark, or a mix that is mostly milk. They sell out fast. They are very creamy, if you like that.

IMO, the Harry London brand was not very good at all. I never tried it when it was on hsn, though, when people said it was better. I didn't try it until QVC was selling it.

The Waggoner brand is quite nice. I don't know what they do differently, but the difference was profound and I would order that brand again (well, as soon as SHQ figures out that we are not charged sales tax in my state on food items that are not prepared and served...don't even get me started on that hot mess!).

Wow, I didn't know Waggoner descended from Harry London, nor that Allison was in the family. Does she do the sales presentations on ShopHQ?

Last time I saw, she was the host and I think it was her brother who was the 'vendor'.

I knew Allison was part of the family and figured that's how she got and keeps her job. What an airhead! Possibly the worst host in TV shopping.
