POTSTICKER FRUSTRATION - ANY RECOMMENDATIONS?

I always get my potstickers from the Q.  I love the veggie and edemame!

But, the packaging is ridiculous!  They're tossed into a bag and frozen.  When I try to take a few out it's impossible because they are frozen together - solid!  Then I have to keep nuking a bunch of them until I can pull them apart, which oftentimes results with lots of breakage.

Does anyone else have this problem?  If so, how have you resolved it?

I'm totally fed up at this point and am considering buying my potstickers elsewhere.  Any recommendations for similar tasting potstickers and where they're sold?  (No Costco nearby and don't belong to BJ's)

Thanx!

Sounds like you want - expect immediate defrost.  Just put the number you want for a meal..........on a plate - leave plate on counter - and gently nudge them apart in an hour.

I do that with everything - meat - shrimp - - What's the hurry - just plan ahead.

@eddyandme

Sorry I don't know where else you can purchase these. Too bad Q's vendor cannot get it right.

Have they always been like that when your order them? If they have not I would wonder if they thaw any during the shipping process?

If it's all one frozen mess it would be hard to take out just what you want to eat.

Those type items need to be frozen before packaging so they don't get stuck together in a large clump.

When we cut up all the different peppers etc from the garden we put them on a cookie sheet before vacuum sealing or putting in other storage container. If we don't do that it's a large frozen clump which makes it hard to get out what you need to use.

Hhhmmmmm  I did not think of that.  I ordered the last potsticker TSV but I am on the 2nd list, to ship August 26.   I don't have time to sit and let them defrost as I work 5 days a week - wake up at 4:15AM and out the door by 5:30AM, home about 5:00 PM.   I bought these to include in my lunches that I take with me.  Not everyone has the luxury of waiting.   Maybe I will separate them into smaller packages of 4, or 5, when they first arrive, so I can take them out of the freezer in small packs when I want them.

Also have read that Trader Joe's potstickers are supposed to be wonderful. I ordered the last TSV that will come next week, but also plan to pick up some at TJ's to check them out. I would prefer a smaller number.

Not true.  I cannot just pull a small amount apart as they are frozen together in bunches.  But, thanks anyways.

@Nightowlz @fthunt

This bag was one frozen mess!

Perhaps they defrosted/refroze in shipping along the way.  There's always bunches frozen together, but this time it's absurd.

I've wished the vendor would put in smaller bags then into one.  Perhaps these were not properly frozen before packing.  It's always hit and miss with some vendors.

Thanx.

@eddyandme Are they all frozen together when they arrive before you put them in your freezer?

If so, I would somehow find a way to contact the vendor.  They need to correct this.  I agree, I hate when I get frozen product in that condition.

@PhilaLady1  - they're not always this bad.  But, they come frozen together - I usually can break what I need apart.  This time I ordered the large size and it was frozen in approximately four groupings in the bag - each way too much for one serving!
