Count me in as someone who has always found this type of "eating" contest, disgusting, gross and wasteful.  (And there are people all over the world going hungry.  Surely, there must be better "competitions"?)

 

I will never understand the attraction for those who watch these things or those who participate.  The "cash prize" is no justification for a display of gluttony.
