@chickenbone

I take it these are good? They should be good for low car diet.

I believe you can also order them from their website.  I ordered once from the Q and then Googled it and found their site.   We thought - although good - the bacon one had too much bacon - - probably most people would disagree!  LOL

Re: Oak Stove crustless quiche finally

Thanks for this recipe!  I was considering giving the ones on QVC today a try, but nearly 400 cal for ONE, 4  oz. one seems lot of calories. They look rather small so I'd probably want 2 for dinner!

I like this one posted by Vabelle35 under recipes discussion:

Re: FAVORITE QUICHE OR FRITTATA RECIPES

This is the one I make for lunch for work every week.  In fact, 2 are cooling on the counter right now.

Crustless Smoked Turkey Spinach Quiche (Cooking Light)

Note:  I use my stick blender to mix the eggs, cottage cheese and ricotta so that it's a smooth custard.  If you don't blend the cottage cheese (and you use large curd), it's not a smooth quiche.

@fthunt  Actually, I have to agree with you with the bacon being too much and cut too big.   However, I ordered another batch which has just arrived and there seems to be less bacon plus it was diced much smaller.   I like it better now.

I didn't like the spinach ones, although I love spinach.
