I've decided I want the Perfect Pro version that is 129 and exclusive to Sur La Table. It's a bundle of the Blend, Drink and Bake. One scale, all three apps free and the mixing bowls, cocktail shaker and drink cup.

I love that the Bake version has you put your muffin tin on the scale to fill and beeps so they are all the same size and can tell you how many calories they contain.

@jaxs mom This looks even better. They have 5% off at Mr. Rebates + I found 2 20% off codes & a 15% off code on retailmenot. Wonder if any of them will work on this?

@Nightowlz Let me know if they do. I've never bought anything from SLT online store, just the bricks ones.

It looks like these have been around for a couple years.  You used to have to plug it into your device. Brookstone sold the first ones.  Vitamix probably put them in the limelight.  I know I've never heard of them before this thread.

Also I doubt that it matters which one you order, you can download all 3 apps.   I did and checked them out.  It looks interesting for sure.

Amazon and Best Buy both sell them.   Price is about the same as SLT.

Yes you can download the apps, I have too. But I don't care about the recipes themselves. The app is useless to me personally, without the connected scale. And from what I've read from reviewers, you can't pair the Blend app unless you have the specific scale that came out with the Blend package or the SLT exclusive Pro set. The original wired models also don't connect with the bluetooth apps. They don't have bluetooth technology.

LOL, I downloaded them for preparation of buying it.  I'll go with the Vitamix scale for that reason even tho I'm not sure it's true.  Reviews vary as usual.   I wonder if the non Vitamix have a micro usb port as well?

Of course the original doesn't sync with the bluetooth, but it appears to have just as many options with the exception of having a cord.

That's why I'm waiting for Costco to get it and I watch them demo it and I can ask questions.

Most of my searching shows you can use all the apps on any of the pro scales but the Vitamix scale opens extra recipes exclusively for the Vitamix.   Maybe Sur LaTable has the same thing.

That means they are marketing 4 different ones, which seems weird.   Costco would be a good place for me as well.

The closest Vitamix event for me is the 14th.  Didn't say anything about the scale but I may go check it out anyway.
