Any thoughts on this set? It will be on ITKWD today. 10 pc. set/pretty colors. Comes to Around $100. w/ tax and shipping.

Without the item number I'm not seeing it. I see one set of hardcoat enamel for about $80 and, of course, I'd totally avoid that. Hardcoat enamel is not a good choice.

It must be k40431. I like it in green. I think if you aren't a serious cook like me, it would be fine.

The original hard coat are aluminum, I bet these are too.

Exactly. Hardcoat enamel (which they now call porcelain enamel, I believe) is just aluminum vessels that are coated with this porcelain enamel. Not the best conductor of heat, in that form, and not the most durable, by a long shot.
For aluminum cookware, I'd totally stick with Hard Anodized. The difference is night and day. This is why these are so cheap.
