@coffee drinker

I didn't see any real bashing, just opposite opinions.

I agree that some seem to be taking "casual" a bit too far.  Even in unkempt  long hair (ala Jen, Sandra, etc.).  JMHO.

Gee, I think Jen's hair always looks so nice.  I don't see Sandra....

Re: NEED A DRESS CODE FOR HOSTS I

I have to say I agree that they should dress a bit better at times.  I know, people can wear what they want and if we don't like it then don't look......blah blah blah.   The point is they are on national TV and the higher ups should have some sort of control of what is worn, they are representing the company for pete's sake.   Many of the hosts do wear the wrong sizes, why that is, I have no idea???    I have a dear friend who is 72, looks like 60ish and wears the  overboard distressed jeans.  I cringe when she does this because she brags she's in with her college age grandkids.  Big whoop,  I want to look nice and hip but I also do not want to look like I am trying to fit into another generation.

I do lament the lowering of standards, but you will never put the genie back in the bottle.

Bridal yoga pants, anybody!?!"

I also went to a wedding once where one of the guests wore a polo shirt with jeans and white tennis shoes.  His hair wasn't even combed.  He looked like he rolled out of bed and forgot he had a wedding to go to that day.

I'm hysterical laughing. The stylists don't pick out the outfits the hosts do. How many times have you heard leah say she went up a size. A true confident woman.

Going up a size does not mean that hosts pick out the outfits.

Jane Treacy  continues to state and affirm that she is a size small top and size 8 bottom. It has been a long time , long time

since she wore those sizes.

Jane Treacy continues to state that she is a small top and a small or size 8 bottom. It has been a long, long time since she wore thos sizes. She is constantly pulling on those tops that are too small.

Re: NEED A DRESS CODE FOR HOSTS I

@STYLE  Please correct me if I'm mistaken, but I watched quite a bit of Julia last night, and I'm pretty sure she was wearing clothing that was being sold on QVC at that time. BTW, I enjoy her, seems refreshingly sweet, and the clothing fits her.

Re: NEED A DRESS CODE FOR HOSTS I

@JackieHN  ITA. Many of us, myself included, blame Shawn and Jane for claiming sizes that are much smaller than the truth, but that blame also belongs to Vanessa, her clothes are also too tight. Maybe they can't handle the truth.
