I agree! I think she is genuine, fun, and makes great transition time while David goes from one set to another. I was not fond of the whole set up at first, but now I really enjoy her, and she has grown and improved over time.

i like the kind of "fatherly" and supportive way David treats her..He seems like a nurturing type of guy, not afraid to share the spotlight...

If some find her annoying or an annoyance how do they function in the real world where there are annoying people and things you just cannot get away from??

Yes, I know that people said she's annoying. My point is that no one said they're overly annoyed or acted as though they were. That's a big difference.

"Annoying" means different things to different people, and of course there are varying degrees. I didn't see anything I read here as an over-reaction. It's a thought, a fleeting feeling, not a big deal at at all. We all run into little annoyances all the time, and we most likely shrug most of them off. I'm sure when people say they find Mary annoying they don't mean she's ruining their day or having a huge impact on their lives. They just don't happen to like her personality. Not a big deal, life goes on. Not one poster here has acted as though it's more than that.
