Re: LocknLock...round or square?

I have come to appreciate the square or rectangular for the way stack/pack together when they are full and being stored.  No wasted space on the shelves.  And of course when I drop one, no worries.

Re: LocknLock...round or square?

I prefer the square vs round sizes because they seem, to me, to be easier to stack and take up less room.  I do have a set of round ones for things like soft taco tortillas or rolls and a set of the canister shape for leftover liquids like soup.  I also have a set of the small round ones with dome lids that I use for things like tomatoes or onions.

My most used pieces are a 1.5 quart round, straight sided containers, that came years ago with larger totes.  They are green body with opaque lids. My problem is that I bought so many configurations over the years, that ALL the sizes don't nest.  Moving those odd pieces to other parts of the home, and prefer just nestable rounds, for fruit, soup, cereal.  I won't need another LnL piece in my lifetime.  I do like many of the tall canister type rectangles for cereal, flour, sugar, pasta, rice.  Plus, many of my sets are older and have really held up well.

@loriqvc   I think I've completed my 12 step program for LNL and Temptations.  I've only bought the cracker trays last free ship day this year.  🎉🥂💐🤣. And nothing today.

LOL!  I think I need to start the 12 step program for L&L!

Square & rectangular by far!

For stackability & durability.

The only pieces I have ever had break were round.

Re: LocknLock...round or square?

I prefer the square.  Although I have a couple of cylinder shapes that my mom gave me.  I use those for onion storage.

I also prefer circle shaped containers. They are easy to use and take up less storage space. In addition, round containers make it easy to mix contents and distribute food evenly. When it comes to LocknLock, then, of course, preference is given to round shapes because of their convenience and practicality.
