I have Tiffany style lamps, a lot of art on the walls, a baker's rack with all Murano green ducks, and my table and chairs which were created for a dining room, but are not formal, also two My Pillow dog beds, tv and dvd player, and a standing artificial tree in a corner with beaded fruit and birds.

Your kitchen must be huge.

It was remodeled and extended last year, so it is larger than the original. I waited all of my life for a new kitchen.

I have an Origami rack which houses my bigger pots and pans along with appliances like my slow cooker, pressure cooker, etc.. Nestled in among the items are two of my Chloe's favorite doggie toys . . . I lost her this January and it gives me great comfort to be able to look up and see them.

Tomatoes. I now leave them in an open Lock and Lock on the counter. It has to do with the cells in it and they are much tastier too. Nice and red.

Soon, we'll be able to get them right out of local gardens (summer). We love those.

I collect antique coffee grinders, there are two on the wall in the kitchen and three sitting on the island and on two stands. Then there's an ever changing array of depression era kitchen glassware running down the middle of the island, on top of the cabinets and at the back of the counters. I periodically have to pack it up so I have room to work. The collecting bug never dies.

BIRD MAMA: your plate is similar to a 3-D wall plaque that I have from my Grandmother (I'm 70). To note, there is no handle on the door: you must open the door to let Him in.

I have a small silver rack (8x12) that holds 6 small egg coddlers. I don't use them, I just think they are pretty! I also have 3 antique jello molds that are hand painted. They hang up with a small chain.

I had a large hutch in the kitchen. On top is 3 band members. They are about 12" tall, wooden, slim, playing instruments. Got them at pier 1 about eight years ago. They just seem to fit in that spot.
