Does the recall only affect the K10 or others as well. I bought a K40 and it is wrapped under the tree already. TIA

Check the recall page where all serial numbers of recalled machines are listed.

Looks like it is only the K10. My K10 is wrapped and under the tree. Now I'm not sure what to do.

Great, just before I'm having family in for Christmas & would be using this. I bought mine a year ago Sept. & haven't noticed any spraying of hot water. Not sure what to do?

I am going to return mine. I thought I would purchase the K40 in its place, but it says "for use the K-cups only." Does this mean I can't use the My K-cup to use my own coffee? Too close to Christmas to deal with this!

I have been enjoying mine immensely. I am going to use it with caution, as I have not experienced any problem and have been using it several times a day. Glad for the heads up! I remember the dura flame heater I purchased last yr at this time was recalled. I kept mine and it is still working great ( although I kept a watchful eye).

Thanks so much for the information. I purchased two of the K39963 K10 personal brewers in December 2013. I went back on my orders to try and find these. The Q doesn't sell this one anymore but I'm still going to check the serial number to see if these are the recalled ones. I've not had any problems with mine at all, but better to be safe than sorry. They call it the MINI plus brewer..I did see the video for the one I purchased and it didn't say anything about being a 'mini plus' brewer. Ahhhh..hate these recalls.

Just checked Keurig's facebook page and they have a link there as well. It also says the problem seems to occur if two cups are brewed right after one another. As I said I've never had any problems but when I get home from work I'll check SN# anyway.

I've had no overheating nor spraying of water either. I purchased mine in Sept of '13. Just went & checked......mine is on the Recall list #31.2002.052493 )-: It is the Mini Plus Brewers only in the recall.

Thanks for posting this. I bought two last year around this time, one for me and one for my niece for Christmas. I just gave up on mine and trashed it due to having to clean the needle every couple of weeks for it to work. She's still using hers, though, so I'll forward this to her. The warranty had just run out on mine when I decided to give up on it.
