So far, the only cake I have every truly disliked is fruit cake!  Unfortunately, I seem to like all cake!

I hate store bought frosting from a can and to me ruins the cake. Tastes too  artificial to me.

My Mother made 7 min. fluffy frosting I haven't had in years. Beaten egg whites and corn syrup beaten in a double boiler pan.  That was my favorite. Chocolate cake is my least favorite, the same with ice cream. I prefer vanilla.

I don't like any cake except angel food cake.  My birthday cake growing up was always angel food cake with orange frosting from Van de Kamp's bakery.

The biggest disappointment for me in the cake world is red velvet. It has no flavor. It's just sweet. I know there's cocoa in it but not enough to make a difference.

It's disappointing also because it's red, and so it should taste "red". Like taste like cherries or raspberries or strawberries--but it doesn't.

Fruitcake for sure - spice cake next. I've learned to like carrot cake, but for some reason, I think it smells like my grandma's house. She was a hoarder and died when I was five so I don't k ow where that memory comes from.

OK, I'm all in on that cake.  Chocolate and cherries, my favorites.  Does he just make a choc cake and add chips and cherries? Or is it more complex?  I don't like:  fruitcake, tiramisu, red velvet or pineapple upside down cakes.

With me, it is more like "What kind of cake DO you like....not many.

Funny question because my birthday is Sunday.

My daughters are throwing me a birthday party tomorrow.

My daughter asked me what kind of cake I wanted.

I said it doesn't matter.  She said to give her an idea.  I know my grandson doesn't like chocolate so I said vanilla is good.

I'm not much into sweets.  But put a bag of chips and that I'll eat.

Fruitcake. Hate those dried fruit in there. Too chewy and gummy. I do like date nut bread though. Red velvet looks unappealing to me. Carrot cake is too chewy. A scoop of ice cream on top can force me to eat any cake.
