Yep, they even have the nerve to charge me again for tax.   bet you this will be a t*rd too. I have to pack up this one I got and return to Fedx.

Ain't that a pip

Before you drag that box out to FedEx/Kinko's, box up the unit you have with the label KA gives you and hand it to the delivery driver.

I had a KA coffeemaker that they replaced under warranty. The FedEx driver took my return with him. It was boxed and ready to go. The driver can't putz around.

Way I understand it they're sending me a post paid box to put the defective one in. Fedx man ain't gonna stand and wait on me to pack up all that stuff.

He won't even ring my doorbell when he brings something

Had a KA - real pretty glossy cinnamon. Replaced it with my Bosch. Gave the KA to one of my girls. Love my Bosch.

I think all those people who adore the brand just makes it up, about their being so great. To many stories like mine about people who gets lemons.

Personally, I think their workers are sourced from another country and don't know how to assemble them

I hope this next one will save the day. Probably gonna have a time trying to get my money back.

@SharkE - I'm sorry your much-anticipated mixer is causing you problems! By any chance, did you go to the KitchenAid website and check out their troubleshooting tips and FAQs? They have some good information there, so I just want to make sure you don't get stuck with all the hassle of a return if there happens to be something small/simple you can do to get the unit working properly.

I love all my KA products and my family and friends all love theirs as well, so I promise that even if there are some false reviews out there, my people and I could all vouch for how much we value our mixers and other items and have enjoyed them for decades.  Smiley Happy

I don't understand why @loriqvc that kitchen aid products have to be adjusted in the first place. Other mixers don't come that way.

My SMEG worked out of the box and not a moments fret.

My Cuisinart, too.  My mother in law had a cheap Sunbeam from walmart and never complained.

Seems KA stand mixers you have to be an engineer to get them to work correctly and with their own bowls.

I watched the 'dime test' video and my trouble was my beaters wouldn't move at all. just made a noise that it was turned on.

they haven't mailed my 2nd one yet.

@SharkE - My mixer worked just fine out of the box and so did the one I bought my mom for Mothers Day this year; I know about the "dime test" but have never tried it. I hope your new new mixer works perfectly for you!
